Position Profile: Genaral Manager Marketing
Job Summary:
The General Manager Marketing is responsible for developing and executing
comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive sales,
and ensure the overall growth of the company in the apparel industry. This role
requires a strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and
effective marketing techniques. Also involve in Revenue Generation of a company
and also handle Profit and loss management.
Key Responsibilities:-
1. Expert in B2B Strategies: With minimum
10 years of experience in the apparel manufacturing sector, excelling in B2B
sales, marketing, and merchandising. Known for driving significant business
growth and market expansion through strategic buyer engagement and product
positioning.
2. Strategic Planning and Execution:-
Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness and
sales. Identify target markets and develop strategies to communicate effectively
with them. Oversee the company's marketing budget and ensure resource
allocation aligns with strategic goals.
3. Brand Management:- Ensure the
brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing
efforts. Develop brand positioning and messaging that differentiates the
company in the market. Maintain brand integrity across all company marketing
initiatives and communications.
4. Market Research and Analysis:-Conduct
market research to identify trends and opportunities in the apparel industry. Analyze
consumer behavior and adjust marketing strategies accordingly. Monitor
competitor activities and develop strategies to counteract competitive actions.
5. Product Marketing:-Collaborate
with product development teams to ensure new products meet market needs. Develop
marketing campaigns for product launches and ensure successful implementation. Work
closely with sales teams to provide tools and support for effective product
selling.
6. Partnerships and Collaborations:- Identify
and establish strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance brand
presence. Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners.
7. Public Relations and Communications:-Oversee
all internal and external communications, ensuring a consistent and positive
company image. Manage public relations efforts and media relations to increase
company visibility.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree
in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
-Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior
management role in the apparel industry.
-Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing
strategies.
-Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best
practices.
-Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
